Our Community Partners

Reston for a Lifetime is a 501c3 organization that joins with a number of partners who help fulfill our vision and mission. Many of our partners provide services to Reston’s older adults seeking to age in place. Still others are organizations that we work with to provide information and education to our website users and newsletter subscribers.

Shepherd’s Center of Northern Virginia assists older adults with aging in place through a variety of needed services (e.g. rides or minor home repairs provided by vetted volunteers), companionship and community.

Living in Reston is like living in a park. Reston Association maintains over 1,350 acres pf open space and a wide variety of facilities and programs. It provides year-round opportunities to maintain your health, social connections and fitness.

Fellowship Square provides housing and supportive services for low-income older adults in Reston and the metro DC area, including the Hunter’s Woods Fellowship House and the New Lake Anne House.

Reston for a Lifetime is a member of the Village to Village Network which brings villages all across the country together to share best practices.

The Washington Area Villages Exchange brings together villages in the Washington Metro area to learn and grow by sharing experiences and ideas.

Aging Matters is a weekly radio program presenting interviews with guests who share information about aging topics. Find latest programs on their website.

The Jewish Council for the Aging of Greater Washington helps older adults in the Washington Metro area maintain independence, dignity and self respect.

The Unitarian Universalist Church in Reston is over 50 years old. Love is the spirit of this church and service is its prayer.
