Virginia Chamber Orchestra: Music in the Gardens

This month at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens, The Virginia Chamber Orchestra celebrates America's 250th anniversary with two programs rooted in the American musical tradition. Concert dates are Sept. 13 and Sept. 27.

On Sunday, Sept. 13, the VCO Woodwind Quintet will feature works by Leonard Bernstein and George Gershwin.

Bring a blanket or bag chair and enjoy the sounds of the VCO's principal players and occasional guest artists in the beautiful setting of the Korean Bell Garden. Food and beverages are available for purchase.

The VCO concert is free; entry fee to Meadowlark is $5 for adults 60 and older.

Please note: It is approximately an 8-minute walk from the Visitor’s Center to the concert location.
