AARP: Creating a Financial Plan

  • Tysons-Pimmit Regional Library 7584 Leesburg Pike Falls Church, Virginia, 22043 United States (map)

A financial plan is more than numbers; it’s about peace of mind. In this session, you’ll learn the key components of a financial plan, including planning for future long-term care needs, choosing trusted decision-makers and understanding wills, trusts, powers of attorney and medical directives. You’ll leave better prepared to plan and know when to seek professional help.

This workshop is part of Making the Most of Your Retirement Resources, a four-part AARP financial education series designed to help you gain clarity, confidence and control over your finances before and during retirement. The series walks participants step-by-step through understanding where their money comes from, where it goes, how to manage debt and assets, how to plan for the years ahead, and how Social Security fits into the bigger picture.

Light refreshments will be provided. RSVP is requested for this free event. Click on the source link to register.
