Fairfax County celebrates 50 years of the Fairfax Area Agency on Aging with a celebration on Nov. 13, 2026. The event begins with a free screening of award-winning documentary, Facing the Falls, where you will experience the extraordinary story of international disability rights advocate Cara Elizabeth Yar Khan’s incredible expedition through the Grand Canyon. There will be a discussion with Cara after the screening.

Afterwards, enjoy various workshops, including fan-favorite Bingocize sessions, flu shots (first-come, first-served), helpful aging resources, community connection, and more!
